T. E. Lawrence to Bruce Rogers

12/VI/30

Dear B.R.

All I have - XIII and 1/3 of XIV. I kept it over today in the hope of adding the rest of XIV, but could not win even an hour.

It is not out-door life, but RAF work which is now taking so much of my time. I hope the pressure will not last much longer.

You have overtaken me, and from now I will be the drag on the enterprise. I have seen this coming for months - and anm so sorry. Yet I see no chance of speeding up. The stuff must be well done.

How is Mrs. B. R.?

Yours

T.E.S.
