T. E. Lawrence to Lord Hartington

All Souls College,
Oxford.

Wed. Jan. 10. [1920]

Dear Hartington,

You'll have thought me remiss in answering: as usual: but I thought I'd see Feisal first and learn for sure that he was coming.

It's very good of you to ask him; he's had a rotten time, and must wait yet some months in England, and the more he moves about the better.

I'll be delighted to come along and help talk to him: it's the most boring job in the world, to have great foreigners in your house to keep entertained.

We did it splendidly last week end. Feisal said he'd had a most profitable and amusing time. Inshallah, for the next occasion too!

Yours sincerely,

T. E. Lawrence
